In the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, in the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Tuesday evening, corresponding to 16/05/2023 at the headquarters of Sarajevo canton chamber, a joint cooperation agreement was signed between Misrata chamber and Sarajevo Canton chamber ,between the legal representatives of the two chambers, Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki) the chairman of the board of directors  of Misrata chamber, and Mr. Muamar Mahmudovich,the general manager of the Sarajevo Canton chamber. After the signing of the agreement, the attendees discussed ways to enhance economic and commercial cooperation between the two chambers.

At the outset of the conversation, the chairman of the Sarajevo chamber of commerce welcomed the head and members of the delegation of Misrata chamber and he mentioned that he’s happy to see them in Bosnia and Herzegovina state. He added that all the capabilities of the chamber will be employed to implement this agreement, which was signed this evening, which is an important step that will be followed by other steps, including preparing for the visit of a delegation of businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina state to visit the Misrata city to discuss closely with the decision-makers in Misrata chamber, as well as to visit the institutions, companies and factories in the city. He also welcomes the idea of organizing a Libyan-Bosnian exhibition in Misrata city and it must be worked on by both parties to make it success. He suggested that Misrata chamber of commerce enter as a cooperating chamber with the European chambers of in Barcelona, Spain. He also emphasized that the Libyan-Bosnian relations are historical relations that extend for decades, and it is time to focus on strengthening them again. He emphasized that the procedures for implementing this agreement rest with SANA consulting, as the consulting company for Misrata chamber in Sarajevo. and the Balkan countries.

  The chairman of the board of directors of Misrata chamber, Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki), startes by thanking the chairman of Sarajevo Canton chamber , for their official invitation to come to Sarajevo. Enhancing the volume of trade and economic exchange between them, regardless of the circumstances that in recent years have led to a decrease in the volume of these commercial dealings, all conditions are now favorable to enhance that cooperation, and Misrata chamber is ready to provide all the necessary facilities for the success of the implementation in terms of the joint agreement, as he stressed on The importance of organizing joint exhibitions between the two chambers to support trade exchange, and that Misrata chamber is ready to provide all support for the success of these steps. This is considered the beginning of cooperation between Libyan and Bosnian companies. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Muammar Mahmudovich, chairman of the Sarajevo Canton chamber, presented a souvenir to Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki), chairman of the board of directors Misrata chamber .
