Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture receives the European union ambassador 

On Monday evening, 12.02.2024, Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki), chairman of the board of directors of Misrata chamber, along with Mr. (Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Aweib), Mr. (Mohammed Hussein Shaaban) and Mr. (Mohammed Ali Osman), members of the chamber’s board of directors, Mr. (Ali Muftah Zagoot), chamber’s exhibitions and media administration  manager, and Mr. (Youssef Abdulader Abushaiba), foreign relations office manager, received the H.E. Mr. Nicolas Orlando, the European union ambassador to Libya, and his accompanying delegation, at the chamber’s headquarters in Misurata. accompanied by members of ( Baragma consulting organization) and a group of businessmen in Misurata .

During the meeting, the two parties discussed means of cooperation between the chamber and the European union delegation in Libya and joint projects between the two sides. The meeting also touched on the qualitative center for training and entrepreneurship that will be established by the chamber and the possibility of technical support from the European Union mission in Libya.                                                                         

The meeting also featured a presentation on ” Libya competes project”, which aims to improve the competitiveness of private sector companies in Libya and is implemented by (Bragma consulting organization) , with a financial support from the European union.

At the end of the visit, the chairman of the chamber’s board of director gifted the European union ambassador to Libya with the chamber souvenir , in appreciation of the efforts exerted by the European Union mission in Libya.
