A delegation from the Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture visit  the headquarters of the general federation of Egyptian chambers in Cairo on Monday, 2023/8/21, headed by Mr. Fathi Al-Amin al-Turki, chairman of board of directors , accompanied by Mr. Ihab Hadi al-awayeb, member of the board of directors, Mr. Mohammed Al-zaalouk and Mr.Ali Gaddafi. the delegation was received by Mr. Ahmed Al-Wakil, chairman of the federation, members of the board of directors of the federation and the secretary general of the federation to discuss ways to increase joint trade and investment relations..

The two sides reviewed investment and trade opportunities in the two countries and ways to take advantage of them to increase the volume of joint trade exchange, organize joint exhibitions, visit delegations and participate in various conferences .

The parties agreed to exchange information, visits and delegations and use modern methods of communication to discuss the needs of the two markets in various sectors and activities in order to achieve a real progressive breakthrough in bilateral economic relations.

In this regard, the Libyan side spoke about the difficulties and problems facing Libyan businessmen and traders from issuing visas, as well as obstacles at customs ports and facilitating movement at the border crossing smoothly and easily. The attendees emfesized that this meeting represents an important step towards developing relations between Egyptian businessmen and their Libyan counterparts, increasing the volume of trade and investment exchange, and then integrating roles in order to support the economy of the two countries in light of the historical relations that bring together the Libyan and Egyptian peoples.
