The fourth session of the Tunisian-Libyan Economic Forum kicks off

With the presence of Mr. Mohammed Al-Shoubi, minister of transportation in the government of national unity, Mr. Ali Al-Abed, minister of labor and rehabilitation, Mr. Nuri Al-Qatati, under-secretary of the ministry of economy and trade for free zones affairs, Mr. Mustafa Al-Sammo, under-secretary of the ministry of industry and minerals, Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, and Mr. Farhat Al-Toumi, vice-chairman of the general union of chambers of commerce and industry, many Libyan personalities, Mrs. Fadila Al-Rabhi, minister of trade and export development in the republic of Tunisia, and Mr. Fakher Fakhfakh, mayor of Sfax, with the participation of nearly 200 businessmen from Libya, The Tunisian-Libyan Economic forum launched its fourth session under the slogan of the Forum for the j-oint building of an integrated economy in the city of Sfax. This forum was organized by the Tunisian-African business council in partnership with the Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture. The work that would strengthen business relations between Libya and Tunisia, where the axes of the workshops focused on:

The role of the Misurata-Sabha desert road to enter the sub-Saharan African market and how to develop a joint logistical strategy to develop intra-trade with African countries.

Developing alternative energy and making Tunisia and Libya among the most important suppliers of Europe.

The role of free zones in developing trade exchange between Tunisia and Libya.

An exhibition of Tunisian companies and bilateral B2B meetings between Tunisian companies and Libyan businessmen were also held on the sidelines of the forum.
