On Sunday morning, 01/12/2024, at the chamber’s administrative headquarters, Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki), chairman of the board of directors of the chamber, Mr. (Abdul Majeed Al-Taher Balaow), vice chairman of the board of directors of the chamber, and members of the board of directors Mr. (Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Awaib) and Mr. (Hani Abdullah Badi), accompanied by Mr. (Youssef Abdul Qader Abu Shaiba), director of the of international relations and cooperation department, and a group of clothing manufacturers and suppliers in Misurata city, a delegation from the Syrian exporters association for clothing and textiles.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the possibility of restoring trade relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance trade cooperation between local and Syrian companies in various industrial and craft fields. They also addressed plans to organize an exhibition showcasing Syrian industries at the Misurata International Fair.

At the end of this meeting, chairman of the board of directors handed over the chamber’s shield to the Syrian Exporters association as a souvenir. The investment tower of the Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture was also visited.
