An expanded meeting with the general Federation of chambers and a number of Egyptian chambers of commerce

Through the visit of a delegation from  chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture Misurata #MCCI to the headquarters of the general federation of Egyptian chambers in Cairo.

Mr. Fathi Al-Amin al-Turki, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, and his accompanying delegation attended a meeting that included the chairmen of the boards of directors of 10 Egyptian chambers from all over the Arab Republic of Egypt, namely.

Kaliobian Chamber of Commerce .

The Chamber of Commerce in Giza .

Cairo Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce of Kafr el-Sheikh governorate .

Morsy-Matrouh Chamber of Commerce.

The Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria.

South Sinai Chamber of Commerce .

Ismaili Chamber of Commerce .

Assiut Chamber of Commerce .

Port Said Chamber of Commerce .

In addition to the chairman of the general federation of Egyptian chambers of commerce, his deputy, the secretary general and a number of members of the board of directors of the federation.

One of the objectives of this important meeting is to cooperate in the exchange of data on the Egyptian and Libyan markets, investment and trade opportunities available in the two countries, exchange experiences and visits, to discuss ways to increase joint cooperation between them and coordination between businessmen in the two countries in various sectors and overcome difficulties and problems.

During this meeting, the Libyan side reviewed many and multiple advantages that Libya enjoys, such as its privileged location, investment and trade opportunities, in addition to the cooperation agreements signed by the Misurata chamber with various international economic chambers and institutions and seeks to sign with its counterpart chambers in Egypt.

Mr. Fathi Al-Amin al-Turki, emphasized in his speech The importance of coming up with Libyan and Egyptian cooperation in unconventional ways so that cooperation is based on reality and seek that its results are quick to benefit both sides.

Mr. Ihab al-owaib, a member of Misurata chamber board of directors , noted that Misurata chamber has more than 30,000 affiliates, including merchants, manufacturers, craftsmen and investors, the presence of the free zone in the city and the largest port in Libya, and explained the possibilities that the city of Misurata enjoys the  possibilities, and can in cooperation with your Egyptian chambers, discuss real ways to develop mutual trade and investment relations between Libya and Egypt, and that this meeting represents an important step for the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries to increase the volume of joint investments between them, pointing out that Egypt has recently witnessed huge developments in infrastructure to benefit from in reconstruction in Libya.

Mr. Fathi Al-Amin thanked all the attendees for the warm welcome and hospitality and their desire to increase joint investment and trade cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
