The governor of the Tunisian state of Sousse receives a delegation from Misrata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture
On Thursday, 11/5/2023, at the headquarters of the Tunisian state of Sousse, the governor, Mr. Nabil Al-Ferjani, the governor of Sousse, received Mr. Fathi Al-amin Al-turki, chairman of the board of directors of Misrata chamber of commerce, and his accompanying delegation. At the beginning of his speech, he welcomed the attendees, then he mentioned the general framework of this meeting, which is represented in embodying the Tunisian-Libyan relations at the level of investments in Sousse region, as it possesses all the ways for success for the benefit of both parties, by searching ways of cooperation and partnership and working to enter the African market, especially since the state of Sousse is concentrated. 6 Libyan economic institutions works underway to create new ones, with the two parties.
The attendees discussed the issue of heavy administrative procedures and the need to change the legislation that hinders and disrupts Libyan investment in Tunisia in general and in Sousse in particular as it is an international destination for all businessmen. In this context, the governor stressed the need to organize a working session at the level of the presidency of the government to resolve all these problems, after preparing a memorandum in coordination between the Libyan side and Sousse chamber, summarizing a vision of all obstacles and presenting possible practical solutions. The attendees also thanked the Governor for his support to restore the direct air line between Tripoli and Monastir because of its important role in encouraging investment between the two countries and facilitating movement between them. At the end of the session, he valued this meeting, which was very fruitful, calling presents to work together to overcome all difficulties.
