The Tunisian ambassador to Libya visits Misrata chamber and holds a meeting with the administration and a number of its associates

On Sunday morning 02-05-2021, a meeting was held at Misrata chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, which included the chairman of of board of directors of the chamber, Mr (Mohamed Al-Raed) and his deputy, Mr (Mahmoud Al-Shawish), a number of members of the chamber’s board of director and a number of businessmen and affiliated member with the chamber, with the Tunisian ambassador to Libya Mr (Asaad Al-Ajili) and the general consul, Mr (Tawfiq Al-Qasimi), as well as the official of the Tunisian commercial representation in Tripoli, Mr (Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Maddeb) and the accompanying delegation.This meeting began with a welcoming speech by the chairman of the board of directors , who welcomed the ambassador and his accompanying delegation, and emphasized the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly country, as well as the strength of commercial and economic relations between the two countries and the way to renew them.

The ambassador also expressed his happiness to visit Misrata city in general and the chamber in particular, as it came during the holy month of Ramadan.

He emphasized the need to establish a new and strong partnership between Libya and Tunisia in the commercial side and work to strengthen the existing companies and open the horizon of cooperation. The first of these matters is the preparation for the Libyan-Tunisian exhibition in the coming months, and he asked for increasing the exchange of visits between chambers of commerce and delegations in the two countries in general and with Misrata chamber and its affiliates in particular. A number of the attendees also talked about the most important problems facing businessmen in the two countries, and how to solve them and facilitate procedures for both parties
