Within the celebrations of our beloved country of the tenth anniversary of the February 17 revolution, Misrata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture held a ceremony on Thursday morning 02-18-2021 in the conference hall of faculty of arts of Misrata university, where a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the new investment building of the chamber with the participation of the undersecretary of the economy ministry and industry of national government of accord, Mr. (Rajab Khalil), undersecretary of public authority for combating corruption, Mr (Omar Qudqud), and the chairman of the Misrata municipal council, Mr (Mahmoud Al-Soqotri) and a number of members of Misrata municipal council, as well as the chairman of board of directors of Misrata free zone, Eng (Mohsen Al-Soqotri ) the chairman, deputy chairperson and members of the chamber’s board of directors, a number of businessmen, public figures in the city, and a number of distinguished guests from all parts of our beloved Libya.

Where the celebration witnessed a number of words that began with a speech by the chairman of the chamber’s board of directores, Mr(Mohamed Al-Reaid), who welcomed the honorable attendees and spoke about the chamber’s role in supporting trade and merchants within Misrata in particular and Libya in general.He mentioned that this building will be a destination for all businessmen, merchants, pioneers and owners of private businesses, while the member of the Misrata municipal council, Mr (Ismail Al-Jarro) clarified the support of the council for all businessmen in the city and working with them to make the city a commercial capital for all Libyans, and the undersecretary of the economy ministry and industry in the government of national accord spoke about the great role of the private sector in supporting the national economy and building the state ,then an introductory video was shown for the work of the committee overseeing the design and construction of the investment headquarters and the most important things it had done, to be presented afterwards Amateen company, engineering consultancy and training which was chosen for the design of the building an introductory presentation of the company and its most important work in the past. It also presented a detailed presentation of the building and its most important features, to conclude the words with a word for a number of Misrata businessmen delivered by Mr (Abdullah bin Nasr(, he thanked the chamber for the efforts made by it and expressed their happiness at establishing such projects inside the city.Then the attendees went to the headquarters of the new investment building and laid the foundation stone for this project.
