On Sunday 9/6/2019, the Italian ambassador and his
accompanying delegation visited the headquarters of Misurata
chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture, where he met the
chairman of the board of directors of the chamber, Mr. Mohammed
Al-Ruaid, and some members of the of board of directors of
Misurata chamber and a large number of companies owners
affiliated to the chamber.
The meeting was opened by the chairman of the board of
directors, with a welcoming speech to the ambassador and his
accompanying delegation. He expressed his appreciation for the
efforts exerted to support the Libyan population politically and
economically and thanked the ambassador for his keenness to
visit Misurata. Then he explained the opportunities and
possibilities available in Misurata, and Libya in in general, on the
other hand, the ambassador expressed his admiration to the city of
Misurata and its distinguished by economic activity. He also
praised the role of the chamber in communicating and facilitating
cooperation between the two countries.
