The chamber participates in Arab chambers union meeting in Muscat

The chairman of the general chambers of Commerce, industry and agriculture in
Libya, Mr. Mohammed Reaid, participated in meeting no 129 of Arab Chambers
Union in Muscat, Mr. Reaid a companied in this visit by vice-chairman of Misurata
chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture Mr. Mahmoud Al –Shawash. Were
the meeting attended by 14 Arabic countries. The meeting discussed the previous
issues and follow up the implementation of the previous minutes and workflow
of the union administration and the joint chambers belonging to the union and
extension for another period to Mr. Rashad Mujibar general secretary of the Greek-
Arab chamber.
During this visit to Sultanate Oman, the Libyan delegation met several Omani
directors to discuss economic relations and the ways to develop them. The most
important issues are opening the airspace and allowing the Libyan airlines to operate
their flights to Muscat Airport to be a transit point for the Gulf states, China,
Malaysia and East Asia in general. The delegation also visit to Salalah city to see
some of the large economic facilities and visit the free zone and a number of
factories operating there, it is worth mentioning that Sultanate Oman is a small
country in terms of area and population, but has a very advanced infrastructure of
ports , airports, free zones that eligible roads and buildings, which is characterized
by good arrangement and planning, the delegation also attended a ceremony of
Oman chamber mass 45, which was attended by many distinguished directors,
ministers and businessmen from different regions of Oman. On the third day of the
visit, Mr. Mohammed Reaid visits Libyan embassy in Muscat where he meets Mrs.
Sumaya Ghumah (charge daffaires) with the attendance of most of the Embassy
members and staff to brief them on the results of the meetings.
