On Monday morning, 29\/06\/ 2026,  Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture received Mr. (Suresh Kumar Manikum), the vice minister of external affairs of India, and Mr. (Hafeezur Rahman Mohammed), the ambassador of the republic of India to Libya, accompanied by a delegation of Indian businessmen and members from the Libyan ministry of foreign affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. (Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Owaib )and Mr.( Al-Hussein Omar Al-Majri), members of the chamber\u2019s board of directors, alongside Mrs.( Rabia Kaawan), member of the municipal council of Misurata, as well as several department directors at the chamber, a group of businessmen, and notable figures from the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening economic and trade relations between Libya and India, opening new horizons for cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors in both nations, particularly in the fields of investment, trade, industry, and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indian ambassador to Libya confirmed that the Indian embassy has resumed its operations in the capital, Tripoli, and expressed its readiness to facilitate the issuance of Indian visas for Libyan businessmen in general, and members of the chamber in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit serves as an extension of the previous visit made by the Indian embassy to the chamber, reaffirming the Indian side’s desire and interest in developing economic cooperation with Libya and exploring investment and partnership opportunities with Libyan businessmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continued communication and the exchange of visits to contribute to building solid economic relations that serve the mutual interests of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
