Economic Forum of the 6th African Construction Exhibition 2026

The Management Committee of the Misrata Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture held its first regular meeting for the year 2026 on Saturday morning, February 7, 2026, to discuss the most important developments in the work of the Chamber and to review the monthly financial reports. The Committee also discussed the latest finishing work on the new administrative building of the Chamber.

As part of the activities of the 6th African Exhibition for Construction and Equipment, held at Misurata International Fairgrounds from May 2 to 5, 2026, the Economic Forum was held on Sunday morning, 3/5/2026. This forum serves as a strategic platform bringing together an elite group of businessmen and experts in the fields of construction and investment.

The forum’s activities included the presentation of several valuable research papers in the fields of building, roads, and construction. Additionally, Sfax chamber of commerce and industry participated in the forum by presenting a research paper.

The forum aims to discuss the most prominent challenges and opportunities in the building and construction sector, as well as to review investment prospects in infrastructure and reconstruction projects. It reinforces the exhibition’s position as a leading economic platform that opens new horizons for investment, facilitates the exchange of expertise, and builds effective cooperative relationships that support the growth of the construction sector in Libya—especially in light of the broad participation of local and international companies from various African, European, and Asian countries.
