Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture, in partnership with Libya Trade Network, organized on the evening of Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the meeting hall of the chamber’s administrative headquarters, a workshop on “Implementing the Unified Digital System and the Subcomponents of the PTS System for Trade.” The workshop was attended by Mr. Abubakr Abdelbari Shanab, general manager of the chamber, Mr. Yusuf Abdelkader Abusheiba, director of foreign relations and international cooperation, Mr. Hatem Mohamed Siedoun, director of the financial department, and Mr. Mohamed Suleiman Tamr, director of economic registrations department, along with a number of chamber members, businessmen, and company owners involved in supplying and exporting goods of various kinds.
The workshop was led by Mr. Mohammed Suleiman Al-Darwish, chairman of the Libya trade network.
The workshop aimed to introduce the system, as well as pre-registration for shipments and the technical procedures necessary to ensure compliance with the system, contributing to facilitating import and export operations, accelerating shipment clearance, and enhancing transparency in trade procedures.
This workshop is part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to support its members, keep pace with regulatory procedures in the trade sector, and provide the necessary awareness to ensure the proper implementation of modern systems, benefiting the business environment for local companies and contributing to the development of commercial activity.
