The General Federation of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture – Libya participated with a delegation of businessmen headed by Mr. Mohamed Alraid, the chairman of the general federation of the chambers. The delegation included Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawash, vice-Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Misurata and a number of businessmen. In the field of contracting and trading of building materials and a number of consultants at the 12th International Exhibition for Building, Construction and Engineering Industries, which was held in Amman, Jordan, from 30 July to 2 August. The delegation participated in the engineering conference accompanying the exhibition, Also they wandered in the exhibition pavilions which included many areas in the manufacture of building materials ,electrical, electro domestic materials, decoration, furniture and home preparation The delegation held several important meetings with the Jordanian ,minister of employment, the Ambassador of Libya in Jordan, the Captain of Construction Contractors, the Engineer’s Captain in Jordan, and the Minister of Construction, chairman of the Arab businessmen federation council.
The delegation also invited Jordanian officials and businessmen to visit Libya and to participate with Libyan businessmen in the reconstruction of Libya. They also called upon officials in Jordan to facilitate the entry of Libyans to Jordan and to open the Jordanian embassy in Tripoli. Cooperation to serve the economic relations between the two brotherly countries.
