Mr. Mohamed Reaid chairman of the general federation of chambers of commerce industry and agriculture of Libya , held a meeting on Sunday 10 -06 – 2018 with the chairman of the presidential council of the government of national accord Mr. Fayez Asarraj  at headquarters of  the council in Tripoli , with  a delegation from the economic chambers of Arab Maghreb , including messes , Mr. AbedaLatif Alestanboli  vice-chairman of the Arab Maghreb chambers .Mr. Shakith Bardeh, chairman of Libyan-Moroccan chamber , Mr. Allafy Khlifa chairman of Libyan side in the joint chamber, Mr. Smir Magul , chairman of the federation chambers of Tunisia , and Mr. Almontaser Khalafallah , the member of the Libyan Tunisian chamber, Mr. Ali ADouadi , the manager of the Libyan Tunisian chamber, and Mr. Salem Karoui , chairmen of Tripoli chamber of commerce, the meeting was attended also from Mr. Mohamed Ataher Saialh the Minster of foreign affairs and Mr. Taher Asunni , the political adviser of the chairman , and media advisor Mr. Hasan Alhooni.

Mr.Asarraj welcomed the members of the delegation, stressing importance of activating the institutions of the Arab Maghreb federation, noting that the countries of the Arab Maghreb  federation  have the complementarities between their economies and that the Arab Maghreb region offers promising investment opportunities and its countries so attractive for investment.

He also spoke about the role of the private sector in trade and development, explaining that Libya adopts a built-in approach at this stage to the partnership between the public and private sectors, and he said that the products of the Arab Maghreb countries have great opportunities in  Libyan market, which is an addition to their quality that is easy to reach as time is an important factor in trade.

He also talked about the difficult situation that Libya has gone through, expressing optimism about the development of economic relations between Libya and other Arab Maghreb countries in the coming months .

the Members of the delegation thanked and expressed their gratitude for the meeting of Mr. president and spoke about the bilateral cooperation programs between Arab Maghreb countries and the importance of the convening of the joint high committees to establish an optimum framework for  joint cooperation ,   the delegation members also offered a number of obstacles, works and the ways for solve them .

The  members of the delegation also announced the preparation for the holding of  Arab Maghreb businessmen forum in Tripoli early next year.
