Misurata chamber of commerce receives the deputy German ambassador to Libya.

On Tuesday morning, 28/10/2025, at the chamber’s administrative headquarters, Mr. Ehab Al-Hadi Al-Aweib and Mr. Hani Abdullah Badi, members of the chamber’s board of directors, along with Mr. Abubakr Abdulbari Shanab, the chamber’s general manager, several department heads, and a group of businessmen from the city, received Mr. Daniel Schemsky, the deputy German ambassador to libya, and the head and deputy head of development, cooperation, and culture affairs, along with their accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on ways to enhance economic cooperation between Libya and Germany.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen trade between the two countries and open up greater opportunities for Libyan and German businesspeople.

The deputy German ambassador emphasized his country’s interest in strengthening economic relations with Libya and its readiness to provide the necessary support to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Mr. (Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Aweib), a member of the chamber’s board of directors, expressed his welcome for cooperation with the German side, stressing the importance of strengthening economic relations between Libya and Germany.
