On Monday morning, 9/12/2024, at the headquarters of the Libyan ports company in Misurata, Mr. Mohamed Hamidan, chairman of the management committee of the Libyan ports company, accompanied by several members of the committee and department managers, welcomed Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, chairman of the board of directors of Misurata chamber. Mr. Al-Turki was accompanied by the general manager of Misurata chamber, Mr. Abubakr Abdul-Bari Shanab, and several department managers from the chamber, along with the visiting of the Italian delegation to Misurata

During the meeting, the two parties discussed potential avenues for cooperation between Italian companies specializing in maritime transport and the ports managed by the Libyan ports company. Mr. Gabriele Negrini, the official in charge of ports in the Italian state of Mantua, expressed their intention to establish a direct shipping line between the port of Mantua and one of the Libyan ports.

In response, Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki commended the interest shown by Italian companies and their strong enthusiasm for developing various sectors in Libya, including industrial, service, and renewable energy fields.
