Within the framework of consolidating trade and economic relations between the state of Libya and the republic of Poland

Within the framework of consolidating trade and economic relations between the Libya and the republic of Poland, Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture signed a joint memorandum of understanding at the end of the Africa finance and investment conference. Misurata chamber was represented by Mr. (Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki) , and the Warsaw Polish chamber of commerce was represented by Mr. (Mark Trzeszek). The chairman of board of directors of the chamber , it aims to work to develop economic and commercial cooperation between Libya and the Republic of Poland, and to facilitate bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially the private sector.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by (Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki), chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, on behalf of Misurata chamber, with the presence of Mr. (Yousef Abdel Qader Abu Shaiba), director of the foreign relations and international cooperation department, and Mr. (Faraj Muhammad Mariwis), director of the administrative affairs department.

Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki said that signing of this memorandum of understanding comes from Misurata chamber’s keenness to strengthen trade and economic cooperation relations with various countries of the world, and to open the door for the Libyan private sector to build relations with its counterparts in various countries, which contributes to strengthening the intra-trade of our country, Libya, with various countries of the world.

He pointed out that, according to the memorandum of understanding, it will contribute to developing economic and trade cooperation between Libya and Poland, and developing a work program based on an agreed-upon methodology to facilitate and enhance trade exchange between the two countries, through which it was agreed to organize an exhibition of Polish products at the exhibition grounds in the city of Misurata during the next year. And facilitating the visits of all delegations, which each party will organize.
