The first meeting of the committee formed by the chamber to collect donations to confront the corona virus was held in the meeting hall at the chamber’s administrative building headquarters on Wednesday morning 25/3/2020. In this meeting, the mechanism of the committee’s work was established and an account for donations opened , which will be announced soon.

All the members of the committee and the chamber’s board of directors expressed their willingness to provide all material and moral support to the Misrata medical center and the medical staff working in it and provide for its needs. Hence, the fundraising committee calls all businessmen and traders affiliated with the chamber to provide the full support to contribute to fighting this pandemic within our city particular and our country in general ,as we got used to this city accustomed to its good people, especially at adversity time, at a time, when some state employees accuse greedy trades and exploit this sensitive stage to achieve profits and personal interests.
