On Wednesday morning, 06/08/2025. The Indonesian business forum and conference was held, at Al-Taj hotel in Misurata. The event was attended by Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, and Mr. Abubakr Abdul-bari Shanab, general manager of the chamber. They were accompanied by Mr. Youssef Abdul-Qader Abu-Sheiba, manager of external relations and international cooperation office, and Mr. Ali Muftah Zagoot, manager of the exhibitions and media administration. The Indonesian chargé d’Affaires, Mr. Didi Ahmed Rifai, and a group of businessmen and company owners in Misurata, were also present.

The Indonesian chargé d’Affaires discussed with the businessmen the possibility of increasing the participation of Libyan companies in exhibitions held in Indonesia, most notably  “Halal Indonesia” – “Indonesia International trade fair”, scheduled for the last quarter of 2025. This is aimed at enhancing trade cooperation and stimulating the economy, and reflects their desire to strengthen trade relations with Libyan companies.

A mini-exhibition of some Indonesian products was also held on the sidelines of this forum.
