Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture participates in Libyan-Egyptian customs meeting

Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture, represented by its board of directors member, Mr. “Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Awaib”, participated in the joint meeting of Libyan and Egyptian customs at the Om-said and Salloum land ports, which was held on Sunday, 20 /7/ 2025, at Alexandria chamber of commerce headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Mr. “Ahmed Al-Wakil”, chairman of the general union of chambers of commerce and general manager of the Alexandria chamber of commerce. Mr.” Mukhtar Jibril Ali”, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors, also participated, along with representatives from the Benghazi chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture, along with a group of officials from both Libya and Egypt.

During the meeting, several important points were discussed, aiming to facilitate the entry of ambulances coming from Libya, as well as the movement of commercial transport trucks, thus enhancing the volume of trade exchange and contributing to raising the efficiency of customs work between the two countries.

These meetings come within the framework of supporting economic and trade relations between Egypt and Libya, and emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation to overcome obstacles and achieve economic integration.
