Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture receives delegation from the Tehran chamber of commerce and economy
On Thursday morning, 8/5/2025, the Misurata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture welcomed a delegation from the Tehran chamber of commerce and economy and the Iran-Africa Joint chamber at Misurata chamber’s administrative headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Fathi Al-Ameen Al-Turki, chairman of the board of directors of the chamber, along with Mr. Abdulmajid Al-Taher Blaow, and Mr. Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Owaib, members of board member directors. Also in attendance were Mr. Yousef Abdulqader Abu Shaibah, manager of administration of foreign relations and international cooperation, and a group of prominent businessmen from Misurata.
The meeting began with a welcoming address by Mr. Fathi Al-Turki, who provided an overview of the city of Misurata and highlighted the key activities of the Chamber—most notably the Investment Tower project. He also introduced local business owners and their companies operating within the city.
During the session, discussions were held on the most effective ways to facilitate the movement of Iranian goods to Libya and to strengthen bilateral trade relations, including through the exchange of trade delegations between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the chairman of the board of directors presented the visiting delegation with the Chamber’s honorary shield as a token of appreciation for their visit.
