Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture received the managing director of Qir Salis capital, USA
On Monday morning, 03/02/ 2025, Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, chairman of the board of directors of the chamber, along with board of directors members Mr. Hani Abdullah Badi and Mr. Mohamed Ali Osman, and Mr. Youssef Abdulqader Abushiba, director of the department of international relations and cooperation, and a group of businessmen affiliated with the chamber,welcomed Mr. William Savary, the managing director of Qir Salis capital, USA, and his accompanying delegation at the chamber’s administrative headquarters.Also present were Mr. Youssef Abdulqader Abushiba, director of the department of international Relations and Cooperation, and a group of businesspeople affiliated with the chamber.
During this meeting, both parties discussed the key ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation for American companies in various industrial, service, energy, and waste recycling sectors within Misurata and Libya in general. They also addressed the necessary measures to facilitate all procedures in these areas.
For his part, Mr. William Savary emphasized his strong desire to invest in the local market across various sectors. He also discussed the possibility of establishing a twinning agreement between the New York chamber of commerce and Misurata chamber of commerce as an initial step towards fostering investment. Additionally, he proposed inviting major Libyan companies to register on the U.S. securities market.
At the end of the visit, the chairman of the board of directors presented a gift of Libyan heritage as a commemorative symbol of the visit.
