Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture hosts the ambassador of Pakistan to Libya
On Sunday, 19/01/2025, at the administrative headquarters of the Misurata chamber of commerce, industry, and agriculture, Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, chairman of the board of directors, along with the members of the board of directors, Mr. Ihab Al-Hadi Al-Awaib, Mr. Mohamed Al-Munsef Shaaban, Mr. Hani Abdullah Badi, Mr. Hamza Ahmed Al-Ghweil, and Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Treiki, in addition to several department directors at the chamber, The Ambassador of Pakistan to Libya, Mr. Anjum Anayat, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance commercial cooperation between the two countries and the potential for connecting local and Pakistani companies. The attendees also explored the possibility of organizing a “Made in Pakistan” exhibition to showcase Pakistani products at the Misurata International Fair. Furthermore, they addressed the challenges faced by traders in conducting banking transactions between Libya and Pakistan.
The Pakistani ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the economic situation in Libya in general and Misurata in particular, and expressed his desire to strengthen relations between Pakistan and Libya by exchanging business delegations and encouraging Libyan companies to participate in Pakistani exhibitions.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the board of directors and the Pakistani ambassador exchanged gifts as a memento of the visit. The ambassador also visited the chamber’s investment tower, which is expected to be completed soon.
