A visit of a delegation from Misrata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture to Sousse-Tunisia
Central region chamber of commerce and industry Tunisia received a delegation of Libyan businessmen from Misrata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture, headed by Mr. Fathi Al-amin Al-turki, chairman of board of directors of Misrata chamber, from 10 to 13 May in Sousse. This visit aims to support prospects for cooperation and partnership between businessmen from the two countries, which would raise the pace of trade exchange in various fields as well as encourage investment in both countries.
The program of this visit included the organization of Tunisian-Libyan business and partnership meetings on Thursday, 11/5/ 2023 at the headquarters of Sousse chamber, which enabled the participating Tunisian institutions to draw signs and promises of fruitful bilateral cooperation.These meetings covered several areas, including packaging for food products, cement, gypsum and ceramics, raw materials for the aluminum industry, plastics, engineering and architectural design.
On this occasion, a cooperation agreement was signed between the central region chamber and Misrata chamber , which aims to devoting bilateral cooperation relations to support partnership and trade exchange between businessmen in the central region and their counterparts in Misrata, exchanging business visits, exchanging experiences, etc…
Within the framework of this visit, the members of the Libyan delegation paid a visit to the headquarters of the state of Sousse on Thursday, 11/05/ 2023. A meeting was held with Mr. Nabil Ferjani, the governor of Sousse, with the presence of the general secretary of the state and Mr. Najib Al-Mallouli, head of the central region chamber, which they discussed the embodiment of the Tunisian-Libyan relations on the level of investments and work to overcome the difficulties and problems faced by businessmen from both countries. During this visit, the members of the Libyan delegation also made field visits to industrial establishments in the states of Kairouan and Sousse to see the economic fabric of the central region.
