On Monday 13/03/2023 the vice-chairman of the board of directors of Misrata chamber, Mr. (Abdul Majeed Balao), accompanied by a number of members of the board of directors and a group of businessmen in the city, at the headquarters of Misrata chamber, received the Italian ambassador to Libya, Mr. (Giuseppe Buccino) and the Italian consul in Libya, Mrs. (Eleonora Bonfini) and the commercial counselor at the embassy, Mr. (Gacomo Grandiso), accompanied by the general manger of the Italian-Libyan chamber of Commerce, Mr. (Nicola Colecki) and Mr. (Romano Baruzzi) manger of the Tripoli office of the Italian trade commission ICE, and Mr. (Abdulati Ataweel), an employee at the commercial office at the Italian embassy. During this meeting, the two sides discussed how to develop the economic relationship between the two countries at the level of the private sector, including the possibility of returning Italian companies to Libya. They also discussed the difficulties facing the Libyan businessmen, in granting entry visas to Italy.
