Within the framework of consolidating economic and commercial relations between Libya and Pakistan, a meeting was held on Wednesday 21-04-2021 at the headquarters of the Pakistani embassy in the capital Tripoli, which included the ambassador of Pakistan republic to Libya, Mr. Rashad Jaweed, a number of embassy stuff and the general manager of Misrata chamber Mr. Abubakr Shanab , as during this meeting, the most important points agreed upon in the previous meeting a few days ago at Misrata chamber’s headquarters were reviewed, the most important of which is the Pakistani companies exhibition that will be held a few months later in Misrata city.

As well as working to expedite the opening of the sea line between Misrata free zone seaport and the seaport of Islamabad to increase trade exchange, they also agreed to facilitate visa procedures between merchants of Libya and Pakistan.
