On Sunday 12/1/2020, the commissioner minister of economy and industry of
the national government of accord, Dr. Ali Al-essawi visited Misrata chamber
of commerce, industry, and agriculture, where he was received by the
chairman of general federation of Libyan chambers of commerce and industry
and the chairman of the boards of directors of the Misrata chamber, Mr.
Mohamed Al-raid, and members of the chamber's board of directors and
several affiliated businessmen.
The meeting was opened with a welcome speech delivered by the chairman
of the general federation of Libyan chambers, followed by an introductory
video presentation of Misrata city, Misrata chamber, and its most prominent
activities, then the word was given to the minister, who praised the role and
activities of the chamber inside and outside the country, Then the chairman of
the chamber’s fundraising committee, Mr. Salem Al-Najjar, , who explained
through his speech the role of businessmen in the construction of the new
outpatient building at the Misurata national cancer Institution, then the space
was given to the attendees to discuss the most important economic matters
which concern the private sector and how to solve the economic problemes in
cooperation with the ministry.
At the end of the meeting, the chamber was handed over a memorial shield to
the Minister, and the attendees went to the headquarters of the national
cancer institute to open the new building, which was attended by the minister
of Health, the general manager of the national cancer center, and many
interested parties.
