Conference about the role of entrepreneurship in the development of small and medium enterprises in the Libyan economy was organized by Misrata chamber of Commerce, industry and agriculture of and university of Misrata in cooperation with the program of supporting Libya in economic integration, diversity and sustainable use.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of chamber’s board of directors  Messrs. Hani Badi, Abdul Majeed Balaou, Abdul Fattah Abu Ruwais, Abdul Mawla Toumi, and the general manager of the chamber, Mr. Abubaker Shaneb, , Prof. Faraj Abushala, the president of Misrata university, and the vice president of the European program for supporting the libyan economy, Mr. Mohamed Alaswad , The Turkish consul in Misrata, Mr. Gorkan Gurmarshler, the Director of the Italian field hospital, Mr. Jean Vito Tenelli, the member of the municipal council of Misrata, Mr. Mohamed Attomy, and with the presence of the Minister of displaced and refugees Affairs, Mr. Yousef Jalala, and a number of businessmen, companies  owners and traders.

A number of deans faculties and faculty members of the university, and in the presence of a number of academics, bankers and interested in entrepreneurship, the conference began with a speech of chairman of the preparatory committee of the conference, Prof. Mohammed Kuaiba,

number of welcoming and introductory speeches was followed , including  Misrata chamber of commerce, industry and agriculture’s speech, which delivered by the general manager  , Mr. Abubakr Shaneb, as well as 3 honorary papers, which followed by the scientific papers of the conference, which amounted to 24 papers by 42 participants from Misrata and a number of Libyan cities as well as the states of Palestine and Algeria.
